The catalog record shows both the location and call number of a book.
If the location is Thomas Cooper Library Columbia Cooper, the first letter of the call number tells you which level of the Thomas Cooper Library to go to:
A - D on Level 1
E - L on Level 2
N - P on Level 3
Q - Z on Level 4
Example: Call number PR 9199.3 .A8 J69 is on Level 3.
To place a book on hold, sign in with your USC credentials, then
- Click Request This Item
- Choose Pickup Institution: USC
- Choose: Pickup Location: Thomas Cooper Library
- Click Send Request
When your book is ready, pick it up at the Checkout Desk on the Main Level.
