If an item is checked out (the status shows when it is due), there are several options for getting a copy:
- Search the PASCAL Delivers catalog to see if another SC library has a requestable copy.
- If the checked out item is only owned by our library, you can place a recall on that item. Just click the Request link in the library catalog. The person who has the book will be asked to return it. You'll get an email message when the book is returned and it will be held for you.
- If no other SC libraries have a copy, you can place an interlibrary loan request, although you may be asked to wait for our book to be recalled.
NOTE: This does not apply to ebooks.
